What's So Special With Windows 8?

Microsoft has always been in the forefront of developing the advancement of operating systems. This technological company is indeed one of the biggest in the world because of the success of its products. To date, more than half of the world’s computers and laptops are running on the operating system that they developed.

Of course, a lot has changed since the introduction of their first operating system and now, it is Windows 8 that is being launched with much pomp and fanfare. Those that sell Kindle Touch are questioning if this will be able to live up to the expectations set by the people who have trusted this brand for so long.

Windows 8 is the latest release of the Windows operating system for use on personal computers, laptops and tablet PCs. The development of this product actually started around 2008 and it was first announced in the CES 2011. A pre-release version was made available for download around September 2011 and was made available to the general public only last October 2012. Those that sell Kindle Fire will tell you that this version of Windows is very much anticipated by many especially those that are planning to buy tablet PCs.

There are a lot of significant changes in the latest version of the Windows operating system. This is mostly to up the ante in the user experience especially in the mobile devices like tablet PCs and smart phones. It is also taking advantage of new and emerging technologies like cloud computing, near field communications and USB 3.0.

It also has a new user interface with a new start screen featuring grid tiles showing you the applications and easy touch screen input as well as a direct link to the Windows Store. It also has the ability to synchronize programs across multiple devices. These new features have made people and those that sell Streak 7 curious and excited if Windows 8 will be able to live up to the hype it has created for itself.
